General Code Compliance (CBC MANUALS)

ISAT installation details and engineered bracing tables are suitable for use under the following codes and requirements:

2007 California Building Code, Title 24, Part 2 Chapter 16A for OSHPD governed and DSA governed facilities. 
2006 International Building Code as amended per the 2007 CBC.
ASCE 7-05, Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures as amended per the 2007 CBC.

American Concrete Institute (ACI) 318-05, Appendix D as amended per the 2007 CBC. 

 

Exepmtions from the seismic design of nonstructural components are defined by   ASCE 7-05, Sections 13.1.4 and 13.6 as amended per the 2007 CBC, Section 1614A.1.13.

When the Manual is used for projects constructed under other codes, users are advised to confirm the allowed exclusions with the local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
