Seismic Retrofitting Made Easy! ISAT has been successfully mitigating the risk of non-structural earthquake damage over the past nine years. Through this experience ISAT has been able to identify, streamline, and refine methods for seismic retrofitting that building owners, engineers, contractors, architects, inspectors, and risk mitigation professionals not only trust but prefer.

Services Include:Seismic Retrofitting: The ISAT team of engineers, project managers, surveyors, detailers, inspectors and installation partners have been hard at work honing the skills needed to streamline the complications of seismic retrofitting on your project. Very adept at partnering with site specific construction teams, ISAT can either stand alone or augment an in-place staff to streamline seismic bracing code compliance relative to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
As-Built Drawings: ISAT’s Survey Division eliminates the problems of change orders and bloated construction costs caused by in-accurate or non-existing design documents. ISAT surveys the existing systems while simultaneously designing the seismic bracing in the field, providing accurate and coordinated bracing designs reducing installation bids and construction delays.
Laser Scanning Services: ISAT as-built laser scanning offers a very cost-effective solution over traditional construction, surveying and engineering measuring techniques. Traditional methods are time consuming, often inaccurate or contain missing data and can lead to unacceptable scheduling delays and budget overages. Since ISAT laser data is captured directly, an accurate X, Y and Z model is captured and the full range of CAD-generated deliverables are available to the client in a shorter time, provides for greater project management and most of all, huge savings.
California Senate Bill 1953: ISAT provides a streamlined means to meet the requirements of SB1953. We offer an array of services to augment the design consultants already in place on a project. Our services are focused on accurate field surveys of the existing areas to assess the current conditions of the suspended piping, medical gas, suspended and floor mounted equipment, suspended ceiling bracing and fire sprinkler lines, electrical utilities and HVAC duct depending on the NPC upgrade category.
